It may be that they just look blank … an invisible ink thing (the heat of the chaos will make the words visible). BTW, it helps to have interned bodies for 15 years (a small cemetery with about 4-5 graves to dig each year) …it keeps you in practice to not take life to seriously (it only life, after all).
